PayPoint and Engage Hub deploys a new collaborative PCI-compliant payment solution

London, UK, 22nd September 2022 – Digital payments expert, PayPoint, has strengthened its partnership with a leader in the provision of journey orchestration and cross-channel communications, Engage Hub, to provide a PCI-compliant ‘Tone Masking’ payment solution specifically for Housing Associations.

As long-standing collaborators, PayPoint and Engage Hub pride themselves in developing and implementing automated PCI-compliant payment solutions, primarily across the energy and utility sectors. This latest collaboration sees the partnership evolve for the benefit of Housing Associations and their agents and tenants.

The ‘Tone Masking’ solution is configurable around individual Housing Association needs, allowing integration with their telephony and CRM systems and de-risking the Housing Associations of their PCI obligations.

The solution allows an agent and tenant to be connected throughout the call, enabling the agent to guide the tenant through the payment process while any card details entered are suppressed – making this a seamless and secure journey. The solution can take one-off payments, instalments and recurring payments, so it’s flexible based on tenant needs.

The automated Payment IVR is integrated into MultiPay – PayPoints’ omni-channel digital payment solution – providing end customers with 24/7/365 access to pay their bills and top up their pre-pay meters.

“Engage Hub has proven it can build bespoke solutions that meet the evolving needs of PayPoint clients. Tone Masking is the latest example. This capability enables our housing association clients to better support their agents and tenants, securely and effectively” said Danny Vant, Customer Services Director for PayPoint.

“Engage Hub’s Tone Masking solution can be tailored to meet specific needs and rolled out rapidly for any of PayPoints’ clients. It is an effective collaboration that’s benefiting PayPoint and the Housing Associations they work with. Not only in offering a cost-effective solution, but through providing technology which ensures the Housing Association and their tenants have a broad range of payment options available, in a highly secure protected environment during any payments journey,” adds Simon Brennan, Vice President Sales Europe for Engage Hub.
