As our business experiences rapid growth we are increasingly becoming focused on our corporate responsibilities. Engage Hub actively promotes good practice with regard to corporate responsibility and demands that the same standards are upheld through the entire supply chain.

Environmental Protection

Engage Hub ensures our business and the partners we work with adhere to the highest code of practice in eco-friendly business activities. This involves using recycled components in the manufacturing process, recycling of waste product. For Engage Hub, it is important that IT waste is disposed of in a way that is environmentally responsible. Child labour: Engage Hub does not use and does not support the use in our supply chain of child labour.

Forced and Compulsory labour

Engage Hub does not use or support forced or compulsory labour. Likewise, Engage Hub does not use or condone human trafficking either directly or its supply chain. Specifically, Engage Hub does not implement policies that would require no required ‘deposits’ to be held – financial or otherwise; no withholding salary, benefits, property or documents to force personnel to continue work; personnel have a right to leave premises after the workday. Personnel are free to terminate their employment.

Health and Safety

Engage Hub strives to provide a safe and healthy workplace at a standard at is above the required regulatory norms. Engage Hub take measures to prevent potential occupational accidents through numerous measures including the appointment of senior manager to ensure OSH and instructs all personnel in Health and Safety. We have systems to detect, avoid, respond to risks and we record all accidents. We provide personal protection equipment and medical attention in the event of work-related injuries. We seek actively to remove and reduce risks to new and expectant mothers.

Freedom of Association and Right to Collective Bargaining

Engage Hub respects the right to form and join trade unions and bargain collectively. Personnel should be free to organise trade unions of their choice; and bargain collectively with their employer. A company shall: respect right to organise unions & bargain collectively; not interfere in workers’ organisations or collective bargaining; inform personnel of these rights & freedom from retaliation; where law restricts rights, allow workers freely elect representatives; ensure no discrimination against personnel engaged in worker organisations; and ensure representatives access to workers at the workplace.

Discrimination

No discrimination based on race, national or social origin, caste, birth, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, union membership, political opinions and age. No discrimination in hiring, remuneration, access to training, promotion, termination, and retirement. No interference with exercise of personnel tenets or practices; prohibition of threatening, abusive, exploitative, coercive behaviour at workplace or company facilities.

Disciplinary Practices

We treat all personnel with dignity and respect. There is zero tolerance of corporal punishment, mental or physical abuse of personnel and no harsh or inhumane treatment.

Working Hours

Compliance with laws & industry standards; normal workweek, not including overtime, shall not exceed 48 hours; 1 day off following every 6 consecutive work days, with some exceptions; overtime is voluntary, not regular, not more than 12 hours per week; required overtime only if negotiated in CBA.
